Hugh Hefner married Playboy Playmate Crystal Harris in a romantic New Year's Eve ceremony back in 2012.
They were married for five years until his death back in 2017, and seemed blissfully happy despite the 60-year age gap between them.
She was left a widow when Hef passed away, and she's said to have spent the last few years "mourning and soul searching and travelling the world" in an an attempt to heal.
Now three years later Crystal has rebranded herself as a travel blogger and found love again with 32-year-old spaceship engineer Nathan Levi.
Crystal, now 34, started off as a Playboy model, starring in E!'s reality show The Girls Next Door in 2009 and in the same year started dating Playboy founder Hef.
Shortly before her husband's death, Crystal went through a particularly tough time as she was struck down by a mysterious illness that turned out to be caused by her breast implants.
After years of suffering, she decided to have the implants removed and underwent surgery in 2016.
Following the operation, she explained what she went through in a candid Instagram post.
She wrote: "My breast implants slowly poisoned me.
"Intolerance to foods and beverages, unexplained back pain, constant neck and shoulder pain, cognitive dysfunction (brain fog, memory loss), stunted hair growth, incapacitating fatigue, burning bladder pain, low immunity, recurring infections and problems with my thyroid and adrenals.
"The mildest of those symptoms started a few years back. The aches, the bladder pain, brain fog, fatigue.
"I ignored it, labeling myself a hypochondriac, despite truly worrying that there was something wrong with me...
"I've had days in 2016 when I couldn't get out of bed. I’ve felt such despair knowing life was happening all around me but I couldn’t participate...
"The fatigue was so severe that I could barely leave the house or drive. I was afraid to get up there in front of a crowd and go blank with brain fog."
Doctor had diagnosed her with Lyme disease and toxic mold poisoning, but she later discovered it was down to her breast implants.
After the surgery, Crystal was able to get her life back on track but her happiness was short-lived as the following year her husband suffered a bout of ill health.
Hef contracted sepsis and went downhill and died on September 27 2017 at the age of 91 - leaving Crystal a widow aged just 31.
After his death, she mourned her husband in a statement, which read: "I am heartbroken. I am still in disbelief.
"He was an American hero. A pioneer. A kind and humble soul who opened up his life and home to the world."
It's taken three years for the former glamour girl to bounce back, but she's finally found love again with hunky new boyfriend Nathan.
The pair went public with their romance earlier this year and were pictured enjoying a romantic holiday in Mexico together.
The romance appears to have been going from strength-to-strength and they celebrated Christmas as a couple this year.
Crystal shared a picture of them wearing matching pyjamas sitting in front of their Christmas tree and pulling silly faces for the camera.
A source told PageSix : "Hef would approve of her romance.
"Since his death she has been mourning and soul searching and traveling the world.
"It's been hard for her to find someone who measures up to the legend of Hugh Hefner, and this guy seems to be it."
